First Annual BBO Bash and Zone reunion

There will be a bridge get together at the home of Pat and Jim Maloney  (hiiampatty & justPatty) on November 6th thru the 9th. Jim is an accredited director and will run the tournaments.

Our address is 9075 Baywood Park Drive, Seminole, Florida 33777

Our phone number is 727 393 8196

It is open to the first 44 that send in their registration check  .  The fee is $15 for the 6th.  It will be a cocktail party/High Tea at 5PM  so that you may all socialize .  There will be no bridge that evening.  The price includes all booze and please let me know what you drink when you register, as well as food allergies.  I usually have sugar free desserts, but it is my experience that all the diabetics choose to be bad at this time.

November 7th and 8th are two sessions of bridge, the first starting at eleven am, so get here around ten thirty or so to find your assignments, do a little socializing.  I wil have coffee, tea and coffeecake for this .  There will be a nice lunch ( either soup and salad or soup and sandwiches , and desserts.)  The second session will start at 4pm followed by a gourmet dinner and lavish desserts.  These sessions are $10 each

The ninth is usually a barbecue, but as so many of you usually have to get going, I am instead taking us to a brunch at The Bellaire  Country Club.  It costs around $23 and is extremely large and lavish.  We can arrange for a tour of this historical hotel.  If enough are coming I can probably get the tour for free, but it usually costs $5.00 and takes an hour so we would do it at eleven am, followed by lunch at noon and you can be on your way by 2PM.

I am giving you the hotels on Ulmerton Road.  These are very close to St Petersburg Airport, and about 20 min to Tampa airport, and 15 minutes to my home.:

Holiday Inn  3535 Ulmerton Rd.  Clearwater , Fl.  (727) 577 9100

Hampton Inn, 4050 Ulmerton Rd., Clearwater  (727) 572 7456

Best Western  3655 Hospitality Lane, Clearwater (off Ulmerton) (727) 577 9200

Radisson Hotel  12600 Roosevelt Blvd (off Ulmerton) 727 572 7800

Suburban Lodge ? 6500 Ulmerton RD Largo (slightly closer and less expensive) no breakfast  727 532 4800

We are approximately 15 minutes from all beaches.  I did not give you those hotels as they will be more expensive, but if that doesn?t matter to you, all beaches along the gulf coast from St Pete to Indian Rocks Beach are within a half hour?s ride.

We are one hour from Busch Gardens which in my humble opinion is far nicer than Disneyworld in Orlando. However if you wish to go there its two hours away. There are many lovely towns to tour including Dunedin, Tarpin Springs, Downtown St Petersburg ( the best and a must see), Madeira Beach (Johns Pass Village).  I recommend you extend your stay at least two days, and I would be happy to be your escort.  You may bring your spouses even if they do not play bridge and they can lounge at the pool, kayak on the bayou (We have two kayaks), fish , or go siteseeing or shopping.  They will be charged for the meals if they are here for them, and I need to know ahead because I start cooking and freezing the end of September.  For this reason, the deadline to register is Sept 25th.
